The 10 MUDs served by The Woodlands Joint Powers Agency (WJPA) are joining the growing list of Montgomery County taxing entities requesting the Montgomery Central Appraisal District to reassess those properties damaged by Hurricane Harvey.
WJPA General Manager James M. Stinson said, “The formal requests to MCAD for property owner relief on damaged properties began this week. We have five MUDs with known damage to homes. They have all passed resolutions in support of reappraisals. As other MUDs are notified of storm-damaged structures, they will follow suit in requesting property tax relief.”
